Of all the
wonders
The bending
light of sunrise
Creates a new
day
As I return it
As I place the
seed in soil
I also place
faith
The steep
twisting path
Will not take
you all the way
You must find
your course
Just choose
you own speed
Let worry and
time go past
The view is
worth it
On fall’s dry
shoulder
A patient
cactus attends
Believing in
rain
A solitary ant
Lost –
banished – perhaps willful?
Or just out
for lunch
In what’s left
for me
Intervening
now and when
I will take my
time
You must wait
the freeze
Have a deep
sleep my darling
We’ll meet in
the spring
There are no
straight lines
Eventually
they bend
By gravity’s
pull
Hand a gift
each day
Find one good
word to offer
It may warm a
heart
To admire
change
Consider the
dancing flame
A formless
wonder
To see a child
run
Flying on
spirited strides
Barely
touching earth
I am furious
I discharge
raw energy
A cry of pure joy
